Biography:
Dr. Michael Sisk is a board-certified Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in trauma, as well as hip and knee osteoarthritis and injuries. While he has extensive experience treating all orthopedic conditions, his practice has evolved to focus on trauma and joint replacement.
A former high-altitude climber and professional bronc rider, Dr. Sisk has firsthand experience with orthopedic injuries. Having endured multiple broken bones himself, he developed a deep understanding of pain and recovery, which inspired his passion for orthopedic medicine. He is committed to treating his patients like family, ensuring they receive the highest level of care and support.
Dr. Sisk earned his medical degree and completed his residency at the University of Colorado before joining Orthopedics of Steamboat Springs in 1999, where he continues to practice. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. Outside of medicine, Dr. Sisk enjoys spending time on his ranch, hunting, and flying.
