Patient Experience at South Lincoln Hospital District
At SLHD, we strive to provide the best outcome for every patient, every time. Your experience begins when you make the decision to allow us to partner with you on your health care journey and our goal is to provide you with the best experience possible.A dedicated Patient Experience (PX) Coordinator is on staff to focus on the experience that goes beyond common environmental concerns during your hospital stay. The Patient Experience Coordinator's sole focus is on the experiences of our patients and families through the study and observation of all levels of care. Our Patient Experience Coordinator regularly meets with patients and family members and follows survey scores and feedback to continually monitor and improve the level of care we deliver.
We are constantly striving to improve your experience by researching and implementing best practices. Our Patient Experience Coordinator develops impactful measures in patient care, community and team member relations that guide our culture of an empathetic and compassionate environment for patients and their families.
In our effort to exceed your expectations, we use HCAPHS (Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems) and CGCAHPS (Clinician and Group Consumer assessment of Healthcare Providers) surveys. These surveys are designed and regulated by Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and provide a powerful insight into your feedback.
